Pop in with the wheel, or your hub and rim, or just your spoke-length numbers if you have them.
We measure & calculate
We work out the precise length for your exact hub-and-rim combination, drive and non-drive side.
Cut & threaded to size
Cut and rolled-thread on our Phil Wood machine - any gauge, J-bend or straight-pull, black or silver.
Fitted, tensioned & trued
We lace, tension and true your wheel to spec so it runs straight and lasts - usually the same visit.

Double-butted
Thinner in the middle for a lighter, more resilient build. The all-rounder (e.g. Sapim Race & Laser, DT Competition).
Aero / bladed
Flattened profile for less drag and superb strength-to-weight. Race wheelsets (e.g. Sapim CX-Ray & CX-Sprint).
Heavy-duty
Extra material at the bend for cargo, tandem, touring and loaded commuting (e.g. Sapim Strong).
E-bike spokes
Stronger spokes built for the extra weight and torque of an e-bike, so the wheel stays true under power.
J-bend & straight-pull
Both head types cut to length for any hub design, classic J-bend or modern straight-pull.
